What is a Transferable License?
Modified on Wed, 16 Oct at 12:11 PM
All products purchased from The Comprehensible Classroom are intended for use by a single teacher. In order for multiple teachers to use a given product, multiple licenses must be purchased. Furthermore, unless a transferable license type is purchased, products may not be transferred from one teacher to another.
What is a transferable license?
Transferable licenses belong to the school or organization and can be transferred from teacher to teacher, within the organization, forever. Transferable licenses cost 40% more per license, and there is no limit on the number of times that it can be transferred. Transferable licenses are retained by the school or organization that purchased them and are assigned each year to teachers within that organization. As long as the number of teachers using the curriculum in a given year matches the number of licenses purchased, the school does not need to make any additional purchases.
Transferring the licenses is permitted, but sharing (simultaneous use of a single license by multiple teachers) is not.
How to purchase a Transferable license
To purchase a Transferable License, you will need to first create a District Account. As you fill your cart under your District Account, you will see the option to check a box to upgrade the product to a Transferable license.
